A true travellers paradise only a 2 and a half hour bus journey from Hanoi. Ninh Binh is full of gorgeous, green rice paddies with mesmerising limestone mountains, which silhouette endlessly into the distance. Ancient temples and rich cultural relics nestle into the landscape. Paddle boats glide down its riverlined landscape, while tourists and locals alike marvel at the beauty of this UNESCO protected land.
Ninh Bình’s climate is classified as warm and temperate. The summers are much rainier than the winters in Ninh Bình.
The best time to visit Ninh Binh is from late May to early July or from September to October. Both these periods see temperatures range from 23°C to 34°Ç.

Unique, helpful, friendly way to travel!
We had wanted to travel to Vietnam, but had always heard that it can be stressful. So happy that we found the good folks at Discover Your Vietnam. The staff are native English speakers but live in Vietnam and know the country so well. They have an awesome choice of activities from which to choose, and we developed the perfect itinerary. We settled on the coastal areas, and enjoyed Qui Nhon, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Nang, Hue, and the totally unique and beautiful Ha Long Bay. What a wonderful trip! Can't wait to return for a visit to the southern areas.

We are wanting to travel to Vietnam to visit family as well as have unique experiences. I never would have imagined that there were as many fun and exciting things to do and see as they found for us! It was a perfect balance of relaxation and fun for our kids, while getting to travel the country. The communication was great and I loved all the pictures of the suggested locations. It is a beautiful country and I can't wait to visit!

Thanks to the insider knowledge of the DIscover your Vietnam team, who all actually live there,we had a wonderful time exploring this great country. When you travel with them they take the time to find out what sort of experience you require and truly make your visit personal to you. Best of all they were able to recommend all those little places to eat and drink that made our journey bespoke to us. The snorkelling in Pho Qouc was brilliant afterwards the recommendation of Rory’s bar to dine in was perfect as we refected on our day looking out across the white sand and crystal clear sea.

We have just arrived back from our holiday to Vietnam and what a great time we had. Discover your Vietnam was a great site to use, you create a Wishlist of all the things you want to do and the team put it all together into an itinerary. The Discover Your Vietnam team all live in Vietnam so their expertise and knowledge of the country was invaluable to making sure we made the best of our trip to Pho Quoc, Dalat, Hanoi and Halong Bay.
