I recently went on a guided tour of Hanoi and it was an amazing experience. The guide took us to all the key sites, taught us about their history, and gave us some personal stories from his life in the city. We visited Hoan Kiem Lake where we watched locals playing traditional games such as chess, and then moved to explore the Old Quarter where we saw shops, street vendors and other sites. We even stopped for a coffee break at a local cafe before the tour finished up. It was an incredible experience learning about this fascinating city and its people first-hand.
